Who is responsible

HONGPAC is operated by Guangzhou Zhonghong Tableware Packaging Co., Ltd., which is responsible for the personal information described here.

Information we receive

When you submit an inquiry, we receive your name, company, country, email address, optional WhatsApp number, product type, quantity, message and the form language. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to send.

Hosting and security services may also process your IP address, browser information, requested pages and request times. Required form fields help us handle your request; you do not have to submit a form to browse. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information through this form.

Why we use it

We use inquiry details to respond, prepare quotations, discuss samples or orders and maintain relevant business correspondence. Technical information is used to deliver the website, prevent spam and investigate security problems.

Where European or UK data-protection rules apply, the relevant grounds are taking steps you request before a contract (when you are the contracting person), legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries and securing our services, and applicable legal obligations for records. If a future optional activity requires consent, we will ask separately before enabling it.

Service providers and external links

Our website and inquiry forms are hosted by Netlify. Form submissions pass through Netlify and its spam-filtering service, Akismet, and may be delivered to our business and backup mailboxes through email providers. These services process information needed to provide their functions. Provider privacy information: Netlify, Akismet (Automattic).

The website currently requests fonts from Google Fonts. These requests disclose connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, to Google; they are not Google Ads or Analytics tags. See Google’s privacy policy.

WhatsApp and social-media buttons are links to external services, not embedded social feeds. When you follow a link, that service’s own privacy rules apply. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law.

Where information is handled

Our company is in China. Information you send us is handled by our team in China, while hosting, spam-filtering and email providers may process it in other countries, including the United States. Data-protection rules may differ from those where you live.

How long information is kept

Inquiry and correspondence records are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and the relevant business relationship, taking account of follow-up needs, disputes and legal requirements. Where an inquiry leads to an order, related records may need to be kept for accounting or other legal purposes. Technical records are retained according to security needs and provider arrangements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Send requests to info@hongpac.com. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority; in the UK this is the ICO. The inquiry form is not used for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when our data practices change. If we later add advertising measurement, analytics or other optional tracking, we will update the relevant information and provide the required controls before activation. A change to page design alone does not change how your information is handled.
